You have written my list of wishes. It's good to find that we have so much in our hearts that is in common. Hey,
I read your post on Christianity. May I suggest the book that JD Salinger writes about in Catcher in the Rye, The Way of the Pilgrim. Perhaps you are right, you don't get to label yourself a Christian. I'm not much for predestination, but doesn't it say in John, "You have not chosen me, I have chosen you." What makes you a Christian is the passionate hunt of God for your heart and soul. If you only listen, you will hear Him say, "You are my child." Your actions, your discipline of response is only to quiet your spirit so you hear what He has said since before you were born- "Today I have called you my son." (or daughter). What you do doesn't make you a Christian, it lets you hear God call you that. I love you.
